Our Mentor Program is Evolving
Over the years our mentoring program has supported scholars in meaningful ways. As BCS continues to grow, we are excited to share that we are evolving our support model to better match our scholar’s needs and professional journeys.
What’s changing?
Within the next several months, BCS will be evolving our mentor matching model to a networking program designed to empower scholars to develop essential skills and build their own network. Instead of being paired with one mentor, they will have access to a network of alumni and community members who each bring different experiences and strengths to help explore careers, build confidence, and cultivate professional relationships. This gives scholars access to a wider range of professionals to share their experiences, perspectives, and opportunities. Shifting to this model will help us ensure equity and quality within the scholar experience.
If you are already working in a mentor partnership
You can continue with the relationship and the scholar will also be able to explore connections within the BCS network.
