BCS vs National 6-Year Graduation Rate

According to the Pell Institute, less than 15% percent of college freshmen living in the bottom quartile of the income distribution will manage to complete college by age 24, while almost 62% of freshmen living in families in the top income quartile will go on to finish their degree.

Since our inception in 2008, the graduation/persistence rate for BCS High Hopes Scholars has been nearly 6 times the graduation rate for first-generation, low-income students that began their schooling at four-year universities.
